David Moss and Sue Moss and family are leaving us in October after faithfully serving our community for 20 years. If you know them, I’m sure you‘ll agree they are a wonderful family who truly practise what they preach. We, the family of St. Michael and All Angels Church on the Hill (Check out our Facebook page) and website: www.stmikechurch.co.uk have been so lucky to have David as our vicar. St Michael’s is a great church which David has made a friendly, warm and welcoming place for all. Not only is the church used for services but also by so many community groups – Wellbeing choir, Brownies, yoga classes, Moose playscheme, Jollytots, classical performances for Art on the Hill, musical events of all kinds and so much more. All these things will continue and we hope to get a new vicar in due course. (I like playing for carols in the park (great mulled wine) and was sorry to hear the owners of Mrs. Brown’s cafe are moving on. Someone hurry up and keep that great thing going).

Anyway, the point of this post is if you would like to say ‘goodbye’ and ‘good luck’ to David and family, come to the community centre on Sunday 15th October from 12.30..
