What can 40 days do for you?
Experts tell us to create a lifelong habit we should practise it for at least 30 days in a row to make it stick. The church gives us lent, a period of 40 days plus Sundays. How can we use lent to change our lives? What lifelong habits can we ingrain? Get up one hour earlier and spend it in prayer and reading scripture? Do an act of random kindness every day? Have an attitude of gratitude? Give money or time to charitable works?
Deliberately smile more, or find more ways to laugh and have joy every day. Perhaps Lent should be more about taking on new things rather than giving up. What can 40 days do for you?
