With the Summer Holidays coming up shortly we thought we would provide some ideas.
- From 1st – 15th July The British Heart Foundation are holding a ‘Big Stitch’ event. This is to encourage people to find something in their shop and upcycle it. This is a great and creative way to give to charity, they are also running a competition. If a few people get involved then after making your creations hold a ‘fashion show’ for your family and friends to see what others have been able to achieve. More information on this can be found here: https://www.bhf.org.uk/TheBigStitch
- Creative prompts for writing stories or drawing challenges. Give each day a theme and come up with something new.
- Treasure or scavenger hunts. Why not make your own plan and clues and go exploring. Alternatively there is a ‘Gromit Unleashed 2’ trail around Bristol that you could go looking for and try to find them all. This is to raise money for the ‘grand appeal so it’s for a good cause as well.
Enjoy the summer break 🙂
